- Photograph or scan every page of the Notice of Action, including hearing sheets that look like boilerplate.
- Mark task names that do not match the typical day you described at the visit. Missing bathing help is a different problem from a total that feels low.
- Read the hearing-request section on the notice. Copy the address and the deadline from that paper, not from memory.
- Open the CDSS hearing-request page and follow those instructions for the request itself.
- Ask the county, in writing, whether an informal conference is available and how it sits next to a hearing request.
- Keep providing authorized care the notice still allows. Do not invent extra paid hours while the appeal is pending.
