Home-care help in Inland Empire
Updated September 16, 2026. Reviewed September 16, 2026 against public CDSS, DHCS, Medicare.gov, VA, and CareScout 2025 California tables. County wages, hours, and wait times still change. Official .gov pages decide.
Inland Empire help is a two-county problem. A parent in Fontana and a parent in Temecula do not share a file. Pick Riverside County or San Bernardino County first, then use the registry and the cost pages. Do not file in the county of a Los Angeles job.
If you are the adult child
A parent in Fontana and a parent in Temecula are not in the same county file. San Bernardino County and Riverside County each run IHSS. If you live in Pasadena and the parent lives in Redlands, the San Bernardino County office on the CDSS list is the filing door.
Settings in this metro
Licensed agencies and residential communities serve the western valley more densely than mountain or desert ZIP Codes. A parent in Big Bear or Blythe may have fewer nearby RCFEs, which is a drive-time question, not a reason to invent a lower statewide median. Use the calculator, then ask local licensed providers.
